Foot Care Appointment and Lapsed Care Policy
Foot Care Appointment & Lapsed Care Policy
At Rainville Foot Health, we are committed to providing safe, high-quality foot care tailored to your needs. Regular foot care every 6 to 8 weeks is essential to maintaining foot health and preventing complications, particularly for clients with diabetes, circulation issues, or diseased nails.
When foot care is delayed, overgrown nails, thickened calluses, and untreated conditions can become more difficult to manage. In high-risk individuals, prolonged neglect may lead to infections requiring medical attention. To ensure effective treatment and allow our providers to work at a safe and appropriate pace, appointment lengths and fees will be adjusted based on the time since your last visit.
Appointment Guidelines for Returning Clients
Routine Foot Care (On Schedule or Up to One Missed Cycle)
Clients who maintain regular visits every 6 to 8 weeks will have a 30-minute appointment.
If extra care is needed due to diseased nails or excessive calluses, an additional 15 minutes will be scheduled, and fees will be adjusted accordingly.
Lapsed Care (More Than One Missed Cycle, Up to 6 Months Late)
Foot conditions may require extra time due to increased nail growth and callus buildup.
Appointments will be extended by 15 minutes, with a fee adjustment reflecting the additional care required.
Extended Lapse (More Than 6 Months Since Last Visit)
Clients who have not been seen in over 6 months require a brief reassessment before treatment.
Appointments will be extended by 15 minutes to allow for reassessment and thorough foot care.
The provider may revise the management plan to reflect any changes in foot health.
