If required, surgical procedures are scheduled in-office after a thorough examination by the Chiropodist. At Rainville Foot Health, some minor surgical procedures within a Chiropodist’s scope of practice are provided. Some examples of surgical procedures performed by the Chiropodists at Rainville Foot Health are eligible ingrown toenail procedures, plantar wart excisions, and tendon releases for claw toes. To determine if surgery is an option for your foot condition, the Chiropodist will review your history, confirm suitability, explain the procedure and aftercare, and set a post-procedure management plan. What Counts as a “New Patient”?
You are considered a New Patient at Rainville Foot Health if:

- It is your first visit to any of our locations,
- It has been more than 5 years since your last appointment, or
- You are presenting with a new foot health concern that is not already part of your existing management plan.
- In these cases, please book an Initial Consultation so we can assess your needs and create or update your care plan.
